Our Carer Privacy Policy outlines how our Company and our Carers (i.e. “Caregivers” or “Carers”) collect and use your personal information, to whom it is disclosed, and how Customers can access, modify, and update their personal information.
Our Carer Privacy Policy complies with the privacy requirements established by the General Data Protection Regulation (“G.D.P.R.”), as adopted by the E.U. on May 25, 2018. It is necessary in our Company’s normal course of business to collect information from its Customers to provide carer services; operate the business; while also recognising the Client’s right to have their personal data handled in a manner that protects their privacy. For purposes of this Policy, a Customer may also be referred to as “you” or “your.”
I. DEFINITIONS
The definitions found in our Company’s Privacy Policy are used within this Agreement and are referenced in Article 4 of the G.D.P.R.
II. INFORMATION COLLECTION
This Carer Privacy Policy applies to all Customers, Users, and persons who access and use our website; complete forms; or otherwise call or correspond with our Company and Carers. Information that you (or your legal representative) provide to us may include and is not limited to:
Your Full legal name;

Your Contact information;
Client Health information;
Any other information that is necessary for our Company to perform its services to you.
The information collected is considered “personal data” as defined by Article 4(1) of the G.D.P.R. The personal information collected is necessary for one or more of our legitimate business functions or activities and to provide you with the best possible customer service.
III. SHARED INFORMATION
Our Company will never sell or share your personal information, although it may be shared from time to time with Company employees and Carers and only when necessary to perform a legitimate business function. Shared data will be disclosed in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the G.D.P.R.
We conduct background checks and personally confirm all Carers in order to protect the health, privacy, and well-being of all of our Clients.
IV. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Our Company collects personal information from its Users and Clients so that it may perform its business functions for its Customers. We promise to process your personal data in compliance with the the G.D.P.R. and all applicable laws. We may use a Customer’s personal information to perform the following:
To Conduct billing activities and ensure timely payment of services;
To Match a Customer with a specific carer;
To allow employees or representatives to provide professional Live In Care services in accordance with our Terms and Policies;
Any other legitimate business functions or activities.
V. RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Our Company will store, retain, and delete a Customer’s personal data in compliance with Article 5 of the G.D.P.R. Only authorised employees have access to this information. All data is stored on private servers located within the U.K. All reasonable steps have been taken to protect your data.
VI. YOUR RIGHTS
The G.D.P.R. was created to protect the Customer or User’s privacy rights. Clients have the right to access, rectify, object to, or erase the data maintained by our Company. You may request a change to your personal data by contacting our Company via telephone, email, or mail correspondence. All requests for personal data or changes to personal data must be accompanied by verifiable identification.

VII. LIMITED LIABILITY
Users and Customers acknowledge and agree to hold the Company’s owners, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any errors or omissions contained in any: file; message; email; electronic message; or any communication where information was shared by a User, Customer, or visitor, and that information was incorrect; in error; or otherwise modified without our knowledge, consent, or under our control.
VIII. UPDATES AND INQUIRIES
Customers can send a written request to discover or modify any personal information that we may have on file. All such requests must be in writing and identification must be provided as requested by to verify the identity of the requester. IX. DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute regarding the terms, conditions, or interpretation of this Carer Privacy Policy, the Parties agree to settle the dispute in a business-like manner. In the alternative, the Parties agree to use a Professional Mediator located in Manchester U.K., with the Parties sharing the cost and choice of a Mediator. All proceedings shall be confidential and conducted via the G.D.P.R. provision s. 420/2004. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement of legal costs and fees.
X. GOVERNING LAW
This Policy and these terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, excluding conflict of law provisions.
This Policy will commence on 25/05/20. It replaces all other Carer Privacy Policies relating to the use of a Customer’s personal data, whether such a policy was made in writing or oral.
